“Where are you going next?”

It’s been quite awhile since I have blogged. The main reason is because I’m not on the World Race anymore and I’m not “required” to write on here anymore. It honestly seems kinda silly to because I’m not traveling the world anymore. But I’ve realized that writing on here helps my mind refocus on the real reason for life and it gets me back on track with my emotions and thoughts.

Also, my blog during the Race was one of my biggest platforms to let you all know what God is doing in my life and in the lives of others. Not only that but to give announcements. And let me tell you, I have quite a big announcement I wanted to let you all know because you followed me for an entire year. You encouraged me, you edified my soul, and you cheered me on. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people.

When I was visiting my Dads church in Greenville, South Carolina… A man came up to me and asked “So, where are you going next??”

Usually the question I get is “What’s next??” not “where are you going next?” This man assumed I was going to leave again. And let me tell you, I knew where I was going next because the Lord had already told me. I was concerned what people were going to think, honestly.

I was concerned that people were going to say things like this:

“You’re asking for money AGAIN?? You just left.”

“You want to leave AGAIN?”

“Don’t you think you should settle down?”

“When are you going to find a man? Maybe you’re missing out.”

“Maybe you should get a job that keeps you grounded…”

“Are you sure God has asked you to leave AGAIN in such a short amount of time?”

“You can’t travel around forever. You should get a  ‘grown up’ job.”

“Your poor parents have some WILD kids that don’t settle.”

These give me a tremendous amount of fear. Why? Because I’m not living a normal life and people don’t like that.

But look at the disciples… their lives were TRANSFORMED after meeting Jesus. They proclaimed the Gospel, they healed lepers, they sat with the poor and needy. They were beaten and flogged for what they believed. They were martyrs.

I’m not meant to live a normal, American life. I have been given a WILD passion to see Kingdom come to Earth. And people may not agree with what I’m doing but it doesn’t matter because I KNOW I AM FOLLOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT.

I want to stand before the Lord on Judgement Day and KNOW that I followed the Spirit wherever He wanted me to go. And because of my obedience, I was transformed day by day to be a holy and wild daughter of the King.

With that, followers, I wanted to let you know what God has called me to next.

I have officially been accepted in a program in Mijas Spain called G42 (Generation 42) Leadership Academy. Word for word, their website describes the program as such:

G42 Leadership Academy is a 9 month training program designed to transform, and equip, leaders to Establish the Kingdom of God around the world.  Here you will learn to cultivate an ongoing, abiding relationship with Christ. You will experience and be equipped to plant authentic and impactful missional community.  And you will leave with a clear identity and mission to reverse oppression and make disciples who live and love like Christ on the planet.

The teachers:

The Leaders and Teachers have spoken to thousands, and led churches, ministries, and missional businesses. But their main focus is small scale discipleship.

At G42 Leadership Academy, class size is limited to 30 people who receive intentional and deep connection with both teachers and staff.

Program Overview:

The First Semester: In the classroom in Mijas, Spain. Teachings in the first three months are focused on the core teachings of Christ, and becoming men and women who cannot be stopped in our pursuit of Christ and His Kingdom.

The Second Semester (Practicum): On the mission field, practicing and applying the concepts taught in the first three months, and actively living out the way of Jesus. Interns will practice living above the fog, not circumstantially or emotionally, as they release the Kingdom of God

The Final Semester: Back in the classroom solidifying lessons, sharing practicum lessons, and celebrating together. Teaching will focus on practical application, and preparing interns to launch into a new way of life after G42.

Each Semester is 3 months!!

Followers, I am so, so, so excited for this next step in my walk with the Lord. I have never experienced the Holy Spirit in my life like I did this past year. I want to continue with that and walk in obedience towards this next season of my life.
